10 children, desserts, and horses

Today was quite the day! First we got up early so we could get to school on time with our amazing home-made dessert… aka, store bought flan. So we went to the grocery store and bought this six-pack of flan. It looked like those pudding containers… and it was definitely sketchy.

Anyways, we got to class… and we each did our presentations on our desserts. Basically, I ate 50 different kinds of desserts without any shame. My bad.
what is mejor than cake (tres leches) and princess napkins? what's that??? nothing? ha.

After we had our dessert presentation/party… we had a test. Yes, I know. A very drastic change of feelings. I don’t know how I feel about the test yet, but I don’t think it was that bad.

After school, we went swimming… and then we went to service. Today we told Chupita that Rachel wanted 10 kids just to see how she would react. It was really funny… she gasped for like 5 seconds. And she was mumbling about how it was crazy and how she was scared to have that many kids. Those ladies are my heroes. After we went to service for about an hour, we went horseback riding.

It was SO much fun. Basically, they let us roam around without much supervision. I let my horse pretty much run as fast as it pleased. That pretty much made my life. It made me so sad that I am not a real cowgirl in real life… Becky and I decided that we will date cowboys so we can ride on their horses. That might be using. I don’t really know. We got to ride for about an hour, and then after that we went to Applebees to watch the NBA finals. All of the poor workers looked for the game for about thirty minutes on the TV and couldn’t find it. Eventually, we just gave up and ate hamburgers. YUM. YUM. After Applebees, about five of us came back to our house/ park by the house to watch Ratatouille. Basically, the guard told on us. By the time I got to our house to get my laptop and DVD, Marcela was on the phone with the guard. I thought we were being so sneaky cool by watching a DVD outside. I thought wrong. We had to leave the terrace by 11:20, so we didn’t get much into our movie. However, it was nice being able to get to sleep at a slightly decent hour. That is all that happened for today!!!
Bug bite update: Bugs love me. I don’t know why. I guess I eat too much sugar, because they eat ME all the time. And I feel that they should leave me alone… so my legs aren’t scarred by HUGE bug bites. =/
