shining, shimmering splendors, dye, y drug lords

Well, because of the crazy large amouts of rain, our landry is not dry. Shocker. SO basically I have the same outfit that I wore on splits yesterday… and 2 tank tops. Basically… Nothing to work with. So we got up, got ready, and I wore my blue skirt again and my tank tops and jean jacket. Yes, you wanted to know such detail. I just hope the laundry is done tomorrow… We went to school, learned a little bit more about our final and such. Yay finals!!! Yay presentations!!! (Oh yeah- we have a presentation for five minutes BY MYESLF. Horrifying, I know. Just to clear things up… I still have not lost my fear of speaking in front of people in English or my incredible skill for stuttering. I can only imagine how speaking in Spanish will go). =)
nuestra clase...

After school, we went to the computer lab to start researching our projects. Lucky thing my internet was NOT working. Haha. After about an hour we went home to finish researching there. Claro we didn’t get much done. Well, it started to POUR rain at about 2:55 & we still hadn’t eaten lunch. We were supposed to meet Marco at 3:05 to go to service… and it was pretty clear that was not going to happen. We called him and changed the time to 3:20, guaranteeing that we would be late to service. We finally got some food, and went outside to meet him. Worst news ever, considering Pable Neruda (the street we live on) was a river. A car drove by us while we were waiting for the bus, and SPLASHED us hardcore. I was so happy that my already dirty blue skirt was wet… and wet with Mexican street water. Quite frankly I was afraid it was stain.
the water did stain... but it wasn't my clothes... rather it was my skin. haha... my feet are now dyed the color of my flip flops... severe scrubbing does not even help. haha.

We got on the bus, and went to service. Once again, it was really nice, but I am kind of sad that tomorrow is our last day.
marco, lorainne, and i at service. =)

After service we went home and chilled for a whole 3 hours. Pretty much we haven’t done that this whole trip. After this little break, we went out to an American club (well, that was what we planned on). We did pretty much nothing for an hour “trying” to decide where to go. We finally got to the club, and they played electronic music. It was pretty much sketch with all the trashys and the drug lords. We decided we would make it fun… so we requested a few reggaeton songs (The Anthem- Bebs it’s quite delightful if you’re interested).
us at the club!

We danced for a bit, but since I’m a kill joy, I wanted to leave at 1:30. Haha. We got home and only paid about 50 pesos ($5) for a taxi. That was nice. We went to sleep, knowing that waking up Thursday would be SO delightful… haha. Love you all! Can’t wait to see you!!!
